Only positive is price & convenience.
Went to CBD College as recommened for my First Aid Refresher & CPR Course.
The only positives have been convenience (due to restrictions) and price – they had a special running.
I have never felt so degraded, uncomfortable & disgusted before in my life.
The trainer named Dominic is the most condescending, racist man I have met in a long time.
Any question that anyone in the group asked, they were made to feel like they were a complete idiot & their question was never answered completely. It was almost like Dominic wasn’t sure of the response. Read more
, so he just repeated the exact same information which triggered the question. It got to the point where a lot of the class said “okay” in agreement to prevent feeling like they were a child being told off. I really feel Dominic needs to be trained on some empathy & how to treat others like proper human beings. Referring someone with high density chest hair growth as a “Greek Doormat” is absolutely disgusting.

Wrong location confirmed two days before class (1 month after booking) and no refund offered.
My friend booked my course for us to do together online. I paid the full fee on 4th June and received a receipt instantly. However, I didn’t receive a confirmation email or any correspondence from CBD College until 1st July 6am and the course was booked for 3rd July 9am. In the email it said the course was for a location 2.5hrs away, in Sydney. I checked with my friend who had booked hers at the same time for the same place yet hers was in the correct location. I called and they said that class was full and wouldn’t accept a refund but did offe. Read more
r to change the class. I don’t know how the mistake was made but it doesn’t make sense that I only got a confirmation email a month later when my friend got hers immediately. I didn’t realise I hadn’t got a confirmation email until I received it with the wrong location. If I knew it was in the wrong location earlier we could have rebooked together. I’ve already taken the day off work and my current certificate will expire soon so it’s too late to change dates. I’ll now be doing the course that day but at a different location over an hour away. I had used this company before and wasn’t thrilled with the quality of teaching. The only reason I chose to go with the company again is because it was the only one available with the dates for my friend and I to do together but I won’t be using them again.
